Located in increasingly upmarket Rosebank the Capitol Music Café is a smart bar that also sells a selection of vinyl, The place is a haven for a new wave of high-income urbanites. Inside it’s full of funky furniture with a pair of turntables at the back. Each evening a local DJ pumps out smooth grooves to a laid-back, stylish crowd. The space is chic and hip, but not aggressively so; it has a nicely buzzing atmosphere, especially on weekends, serves a decent array of drinks and hosts regular, eclectic club nights and parties.
